What Is Verified?
The August 21 patch states that upgrade and money progress reset after the demo was planned because of balance changes, while card collection was preserved.
First Check
Confirm whether your report is a demo migration case, a current save problem, or an achievement sync issue before applying fixes. Demo migration behavior is not the same as a recurring live save bug.
What to Preserve
Do not delete saves while testing. Export tracker progress, note your money and upgrade counts, then relaunch and check whether cards remain intact.
When It Is Probably Not a Bug
If the reset happened only when moving from demo-era progress to the launch build, it may match the planned balance reset described by the patch notes.
When to Report It
If upgrades reset repeatedly on the current build after normal save/load cycles, record the build date, whether cards persisted, and what action happened immediately before the reset.
