Quick Answer
KOTAMON has 3 cosplay outfits. Find 1 for A Gift for Jenny and all 3 for To Be Continued. The August 27 patch says the cosplay suitcase drop chance was fixed again and the cosplay window no longer freezes when exiting the menu.
What Are Cosplay Outfits?
Cosplay outfits are collectible finds tied to Jenny-related achievement thresholds.
Achievement Milestones
1 outfit: A Gift for Jenny. 3 outfits: To Be Continued...
Before Resetting a Trash Pile
Pick up visible cosplay cases, figurines, audiotapes, cereal boxes and other unusual valuables before generating a new pile or heavily moving nearby clutter. With only three outfits needed, one missed case can create hours of uncertainty.
Played 6+ Hours and Found 0 Cosplays?
That symptom matches current player frustration more than a normal checklist question. Confirm you are on the latest patch, keep clearing fresh piles, pick up visible valuables before rerolling pile state, and record whether other collectibles still appear. If nothing collectible-related appears, check save and patch state before assuming the outfit list is complete.
Cosplay Cases and Spawn Notes
The August 22 update increased cosplay case chances, and the August 27 update says the suitcase chance was fixed again. Neither note publishes exact case odds or fixed locations, so this page focuses on checklist progress and missing-outfit troubleshooting.
August 27 Cosplay Fix
The August 27 patch also fixed a freeze when leaving the cosplay menu. If the menu still freezes on a later build, record the build date, whether an outfit was just collected, and whether the achievement counter changed.
How to Record an Outfit
Record outfit count, nearby landmark and achievement state before leaving the area. A screenshot is especially useful because the total target is small.
Collection Advice
Treat outfits as high-priority collectibles when seen. Do not grind nearby objects first if there is any chance the item state could change.
Can’t Find the Third Cosplay Outfit?
If you are missing the third cosplay outfit, continue the pile loop after the August 27 fix, pick up all visible valuables before generating a new pile, and verify whether To Be Continued already unlocked. Exact suitcase odds are still unpublished.
Cosplay Not Spawning
No official source gives a guaranteed interval. Treat long gaps as bad luck unless other collectible counters, save behavior or pile generation also look broken.
Promotion Rule
Exact outfit locations stay unpublished until gameplay screenshots or a repeatable route confirm them.
