Quick Answer

The August 27 KOTAMON update added clearer tutorial and UI support for the existing three-copy card Level Up system, removed repeated Kotalion selling, fixed cereal-box and cosplay issues, and made trash-bag and beer achievement counters persist across saves.

August 27 Patch Summary

Card Level Up now has visible collection indicators, eligible duplicate stacks show a yellow border and arrow, and a green Level Up button exchanges three same-card, same-Quality copies for one higher-Quality card. The same patch fixed cereal-box store disappearance, cosplay menu freezing, cosplay suitcase chance, card display issues and achievement counter persistence.

How Card Level Up Works

Use this only when you have three duplicate copies of the same card at the same Quality. The patch notes say the result is one more complete, higher-Quality card and may even be foil. This wiki does not publish fixed foil odds because the notes do not provide a rate.

Kotalion Infinite Money Fix

The old endgame method was to find Kotalion, sell it for a large amount of money, let it drop again and repeat. The August 27 patch removed that route: Kotalion now stays with you forever and can no longer be sold.

Cereal Box Fix

Cereal boxes should no longer disappear when purchasing, entering or exiting the store. Use the Cereal Boxes guide for Jenny’s $10,000 late-game shop context and for tracking boxes toward Gacha Addiction.

Cosplay Fixes

The cosplay window should no longer freeze when exiting the menu. The same notes say cosplay suitcase drop chance was fixed again, but they still do not publish exact odds or fixed outfit locations.

Achievement Counter Changes

Counters for collected trash bags and drunk cans of beer are now calculated from save to save. That affects long cleanup and beer achievements, including Annihilation and Many Hoppy Returns.

Other UI and Card Fixes

The patch also mentions the best-card display in the garage, higher-resolution illustrations for some cards, tooltip glitches above the table, missing first-cosplay bubble restoration, icon color fixes and localization fixes.

What Is Planned, Not Released Yet

The developer says Steam Community Items were submitted for approval and a larger content expansion is planned if no critical bugs appear. Treat those as planned items, not live card or content data.
